Flutter Sombra Shipping Contest Entry

This is my second entry for 's shipping contest! Again, for those who don't know, I do not ship these characters, I'm not into that kind of thing, but if you love it, then I support your decision! Onto talking about the piece!

I had so much fun drawing this! Everything came out so well I'm so happy, I was worried the kiss part because I've never drawn something like this nor have I ever done the lip kiss thing so I wouldn't have any idea how it works, but I think it came out well! So, I'm going to call things like this Snapshot Animations! Quick GIFs that are just a few pictures put together to mimic movement but doesn't actually have that full animation look, so it's like those two frame things ones, but longer. I've seen other pieces of animation like this, so that's what I'm calling them from now on since I don't know if things like these have a name. I might do commissions of things like these, maybe a YCH in the future. To be honest, this is so cute I came very close to shipping them, but, like I said, I'm not into that sort of thing, at least for this show.

Some more fun dialogue because I feels like it (might edit this later)!

Fluttershy and Sombra are taking a walk through the local park, Fluttershy is as happy as can be as she trots along, but Sombra is following behind as he takes in the not so friendly stares of others.

Fluttershy: Isn't it such a lovely day, Sombra? Oh how I wish everyday could be like this!

Sombra looks over at a small child gawking at him, his mother pulls him away.

Sombra: Fluttershy, what do you see in me?

Fluttershy stops and turns to look at him.

Fluttershy: What do you mean?
Sombra: How can you love something like me?
Fluttershy: Sombra, you're not that same pony anymore.
Sombra: You don't know that. There's still that lingering evil within me, I can feel it.

Fluttershy finally notices the ponies moving swiftly away from him, sending nasty looks. She walks up to him and holds his right hoof in her own.

Flutter: Don't worry about them, they don't understand you like I do.
Sombra: They have every right to be scared! I was once the evil tyrant that enslaved all of the Crystal Empire! I forced those ponies to slave away at the mines!

Sombra backs away from her.

Sombra: How can you possible love a monster like me?

Fluttershy opened her mouth, her answer seemingly ready, but she was unable to get the words out. Sombra looked to her, knowing full well the difficulty of his question, a moment of silence filled the air. Then, in one gently swoop, Fluttershy presses her lips onto Sombra's. For a moment, he was in shock, but then he found himself relax as he returned her motion.

Fluttershy: Like that.

I love cheesy love stories (even though this ends up not being so happy) !
